Crockpot Chile Verde
Tender Pork Slow-Cooked in a Flavorful Green Chile Sauce for a Comforting and Easy-to-Make Meal

Ingredients
For the Chile Verde:
- 2 ½ lbs pork shoulder (or pork stew meat), cut into chunks
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1–2 roasted poblano peppers, peeled, deseeded, and chopped (or canned green chilies)
- 1 cup green chile salsa (or roasted and chopped fresh green chilies)
- 3 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 cups chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for browning the meat)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
For Serving and Garnish:
- Fresh cilantro (optional)
- Warm tortillas
