Ingredients For Orange Breakfast Bake:

  • 4 day old orange sweet rolls
  • 4 – 6 slice bacon
  • 1/4 c onions (optional)
  • 1 1/2 c shredded cheese
  • 3/4 c milk
  • 3 – 4 lg eggs

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  • Bake the orange rolls according to the package directions. Frost and let cool. Cover and save for the next day.
  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Fry the bacon in a pan or cook in the microwave until crisp.
  • If using onions, saute for 3 – 5 minutes until translucent.
  • Cube the sweet rolls with frosting. Put in a 5×9 pan sprayed with butter-flavored cooking spray.
  • Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the cubed rolls.
  • Combine milk, eggs, and onions (if using).
  • Pour the milk mixture over the cheese and cubed rolls.
  • Bake, covered with foil, for 45 – 50 minutes.
  • Remove the casserole from the oven. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and the bacon.
  • Return to the oven. Bake for 5 more minutes until the cheese is melted.
